During the 139th Bible Fellowship Church conference, Scott A. Allison, Senior Pastor of New Life Bible Fellowship Church, Oley, PA, was ordained. Here is his testimony of salvation and how God called him to ministry.

God saved me at a very young age, as I responded to the basic truths of the gospel that my young mind could grasp – I was a sinner, and Jesus was the only One who could do anything about my sin. At age 8, God made clear to me that He wanted me to be in full-time vocational ministry. Shortly after that, my family participated in a number of churches which all went through turmoil and splits. Through that experience God deepened in me a desire to minister to His church, which was clearly hurting in many places. I began teaching the Bible through kids’ Bible clubs in my high school years. Through those and subsequent ministry opportunities, God’s people began affirming my inner sense of call. I attended a church-based seminary in Indiana where I met my wife Courtney. We connected almost immediately over our shared passion to teach others God’s Word, and were married within six months! God has blessed us with four children: Joel (10), Grant (9), Elizabeth (8), and Frederick (5). In 2019, we moved from Norristown, PA, to the Oley, PA, area to join the staff of New Life BFC. We’re thankful for the ways in which the Lord has been so gracious to our family, in part through so many at New Life who have welcomed us and ministered to our family over the last two years.

Praise the Lord for the calling on the life of Pastor Scott Allison and his ministry at New Life BFC in Oley.
