On a beautiful August day, alumni and former students of Berean Bible School and Pinebrook Jr. College gathered at Upper Saucon Township Park in Center Valley, PA. The event was attended by 78 people. There were 12 Bereans and 47 Pinebrookians, including 14 couples who married after attending the two schools. Classes represented went from 1969 to 1989. A good turnout came from the class of 1975, who were celebrating 50 years since graduating from PJC. Seventeen BFC churches were represented. One gentleman started at Berean, was drafted, came back to finish at Pinebrook, and met his wife there. Greetings were read from someone in Australia.
A covered dish lunch brought an abundance of amazing food. Buttons were handed out, recognizing the day. Also, mugs were custom made honoring the occasion. Donna Stortz came the furthest distance, from Durham, NC.
Those whose lives have been touched by the schools commented on the blessing of staff and teachers. These were people who cared for the students and spoke biblical truth into their lives. A priceless treasure for which many are grateful for all these years later.
In 2026, the reunion will be held on August 8, starting at 11, eating a noon, at Upper Saucon Township Park, 3231 Preston Lane, Center Valley, PA. Find more information or sign up at BFC.org/Events.
